Expressive Typography

Expressive typography is the typography of which the images are created from text and the meaning of the text is expressed within the appliance of letters or words in an expressive matter. By means creating meaning throughout playing with the size, fonts and individual letters.

Here I will be posting a few examples of expressive typography that I have found and caught my eye during an internet browse.

In this poster designed by Christina Koehn, some of the letters are cropped in order to express the words ‘hidden and truth’.
